The Coconut is a tropical fruit that can be found in more than 80 countries around the world. We narrow down our sourcing to the Philippines and Thailand, where the Coconut has a greater flavor and is available in Organic and Non-GMO varieties.
These Coconuts grow in areas with abundant sunlight (temperature around 53.6–55.4 °F) and high humidity (around 70%). Botanists know this tropical food as Cocos Nucifera and identify many origins without being certain of where it precisely originated. Most parts of the coconut have strong nutritional values and can be consumed as chips, shredded, water, milk meat, sugar and oil. The Coconut meat, the part used to make chips and flour, is rich in Lauric Acid. It is known to increase the high-density lipoprotein (HDL) considered as good cholesterol.
